What is considered Mint?

Boxes with :

  • No scratches, dings, stains,
  • Any damage are considered just like new.

What is considered Dinged?

At Cashmoneyteststrips, we maintain high-quality standards when purchasing test strips. While we primarily seek items in mint condition, we also accept boxes with minor imperfections, provided they are free from stains :

  • Acceptable minor damages include small tears, dents, or crushes no larger than the size of a dime.
  • Any box that meets these criteria can be purchased at a discounted rate.
  • To ensure full transparency and avoid any confusion, we encourage you to send us pictures of your items before shipping.

We will promptly assess their condition and inform you of the offer.

What is considered Damaged?

The lowest tier we accept is damaged boxes.

  • These may have tears larger than a dime or very tiny tears on multiple sides,
  • No damage to the expiration date. In some cases, small, removable stains are acceptable.

To ensure clarity and transparency, we highly recommend that you send us pictures of your items if they meet any of these criteria. This will help us provide a more accurate price assessment for your boxes. In cases of damaged boxes, a picture is especially important for an accurate evaluation.

What is considered Severely Damaged?

Items in this condition cannot be accepted under any circumstances.

  • Boxes that are open, have stains larger than a quarter, tears on multiple sides larger than a quarter, broken seals, or crushed packaging.
  • For these items, we offer two options: we can return them to you at your expense, or we can donate them to a facility named Insulin for Life.

To maintain transparency and avoid any misunderstandings, we encourage you to send us pictures of your items before shipping. This allows us to give you an accurate price assessment and ensures that we are on the same page regarding the condition of your test strips.

Protect Your Shipment with Confidence

To help ensure the safety of your items—especially for first-time shippers—we highly recommend using our free mailing kit. It includes bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and a sturdy box designed to provide maximum protection during transit.


Proper packaging is essential. If items arrive damaged, we may be unable to pay for them and may need to donate them instead. While we’re proud to support great causes, we want you to receive the full value you deserve.


To further protect your shipment and maintain full transparency, we encourage you to upload photos of your items during the checkout process. This step provides proof of condition, which is critical when filing an insurance claim in the rare event that a package is damaged in transit. We include USPS shipping insurance, and having clear photos ensures a smoother and faster claims process for both parties.
